The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Well written and interesting characters. Started as a casual read in the evenings and escalated into a non-stop finish.

The next Challenge on my list is to list my 3 favourite colours. Just to make this more fun I’ve associated a song to each.
With the risk of being cheesy – Blue
Bringing back the rock – Purple
Couldn’t decide which colour so went for both – Black & White
Ide like to take this opportunity to welcome myself back to the blog world after being wedged under a rock of endless work (if endless fails to make its point.. Let’s try eternal).
Welcome back Lauren
*applause* *clap clap* *whistle* *fist pump noise whoosh* *polite shoulder taps of acknowledgement* you catch my point…
Anyway, since I last blogged (last year) I tried to make a resolution to blog every week in 2014. Ide say that resolution was hugely exagerated seeing as this is my first post this year… I mean who decided new year equals new year resolutions? That idiot…
Chantelle and I decided to give ourselves a kick up the butt and start blogging again. What better way to do so than a challenge… 21 things about me. Simples 🙂
Challenge 1: What is your name and were you named after anybody?
Well if you don’t know my name then clearly you weren’t concentrating earlier… Tip: concentrate more.
Named after anyone? Just me 🙂 and it’s great! 🙂
Allegiant by Veronica Roth
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I read this entire trilogy in a week! I was totally hooked and absorbed into the world of factions and factionless. Fearlessness, selflessness, stubbornness, intrigue, greed, resistance, love and loss.
Thoroughly enjoyed the story and creative interpretation of basic human emotions and phychy.
If I had the choice…
Divergent by Veronica Roth
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Coming off the back of the hugely successful and absorbing Hunger Games Trilogy I was apprehensive to start another. However, I am glad I did.
Veronica Roth has come up with a fascinating plot and complex characters.
I started Divergent with interest, which quickly turned into obsession. I sped through Divergent in 2 days, not able to put if down for a second!
Look forward to the next one 🙂
