Introspective #3: An Hour

Its that time of year in the UK (and the rest of Europe for that matter) when the clocks go back an hour.  Not only does everyone talk about it, but the radio, tv, papers, and facebook statuses give constant hourly updates on the fact that in a couple of hours we will have another hour! Ironic, dont you think. So if you have missed the boat on this – you live under a fat rock as in true british style, small things like an hour make huge news.

But is it such a small thing?

I lay in bed last night thinking about the strangeness of gaining that extra hour.  The first thing I asked myself was what would I do with my extra hour? The second thing I asked myself was nothing.  The first question left me quite mind blown to be honest.

I don’t have an answer just yet, so I opted to write about it.

If I had an extra hour in a day I would:
● catch up on some much needed shut eye nah, that’s a waste
● do some excercise never a bad idea
● catch up on work lame but necessary
● reflect
● have a great skype chat to family and friends at home hell yea
● tell you i love you one more time just in case 100 times wasnt enough
● cook something amazing and new and blog about it
● listen to some music old or new
● discover something new
● take action and do the things you were meant to do yesterday and before that
ride my new bike come rain or shine
find a challenge or commit to something worth generating the motivation and desire

Its amazing how the first ideas that came to mind were fairly simple.  God I hope im not losing my ambitions!!

What would you do with an extra hour?
